Privacy Policy

This policy covers rebuiltdeals.com, run by Rebuilt Deals LLC (“Rebuilt Deals”, “we”) in Portland, Oregon. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you use a form on this site (contact, vehicle question, test drive, vehicle finder) we collect what you type:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• your message, the car you asked about, and any preferred days or times;
• for the vehicle finder, the kind of car, budget and colors you want;
• whether you ticked the optional text-message box, and when.

If you text us at (971) 449-1159, we receive your mobile number and the text you sent, and we keep them the same way as a form inquiry so we can reply.

To limit spam we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself. Please do not send Social Security numbers, birth dates or card numbers through our forms.

Why we collect it

To answer your inquiry, set up appointments and visits, and tell you about cars you asked about. We do not use it for anything else.

Text messaging

If you tick the optional text-message box on a form, we may text the phone number you gave us about your inquiry, your appointment and cars you asked about. The box is never required, and you can reply STOP at any time. The full text-message terms are in our Terms.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are visited and how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and reports pages viewed and the form events described above (that a form was sent, not what you wrote). You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on and still use the whole site.

Who handles your information

Your form entries are sent to us by email and stored in our own database. Companies that host this site, deliver email and deliver text messages for us handle your information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to follow up with you and run the business, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices and deleting your information

To see, correct or delete what we have about you, or to stop texts, email marius@rebuiltdeals.com or call 503-915-2266. We will confirm when it is done. To stop texts right away, reply STOP to any message.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
